THE Cebu City Police Office along with the City Transportation Office apprehended more than 800 traffic violators last Sunday and Monday, May 26 and 27, 2019.
Majority of the violators were caught wearing slippers or not wearing a helmet—if they were driving a motorcycle—or not wearing a seatbelt—if they were driving a car.
Some had more serious violations like not carrying a driver’s license or driving an unregistered vehicle.
A patrolman of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 7 was caught driving his motorcycle while wearing slippers last May 12. When asked for an ID and for the registration of his motorcycle, he couldn’t produce them. What happened to him?
