A MASS HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) testing is set to be conducted on June 15 by Kagay-an Plus Inc. to mark the National HIV Screening Day.
Spearheaded by LoveYourself and in partnership with the Kagay-an Plus Inc., Hot Nurses of Pinas is a one-day activity to be conducted at Oro PIA Lounge.
A follow up to the Hot Doctors of Pinas in November 2018, the event will feature good-looking volunteer nurses who will take the blood samples. Members of the Kagay-an Plus and a doctor will also be there to help.
"Hopefully, maingganyo namo ang mga (we can invite) key population, most especially the MSM (men who have sex with men) and transgender, nga magpa (who will undergo) test on June 15 for this event," Enrique Niño Patricio, executive director of Kagay-an Plus, said.
The mass testing also aims to promote community centers that cater to people living with HIV from all over the country.
Including Oro PIA in Cagayan de Oro City, other locations conducting the said event are: LoveYourself Anglo in Mandaluyong; LoveYourself Uni and Victoria by LoveYourself in Pasay; LoveYourself Welcome in Manila City; LoveYourself White House, BISDAK Cebu, and CURLS Cebu in Cebu City; Decent Image of South Signal Association in Taguig City; Juan Posi+ive Movement in Pampanga; Project H4 in Palawan; Olympus Society of Davao Inc. in Davao City; Cavite Positive Action Group The JCH Advocacy Inc. and AVES Love and Light in Cavite City; Mujer-LGBT Organization in Zamboanga; and Family Planning Organization of the Philippines - Iloilo in Iloilo.
Kagay-an Plus (Preserving Life Uniting Society) Inc. is a non-government organization that responds to human rights, HIV and Aids issues and concerns in Cagayan de Oro City and Northern Mindanao.
