PamCham confirms movements within Board of Directors

THE Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (PamCham), in its 166th Board of Directors meeting held last May 20, 2019, confirmed the following adjustments made in its Board of Directors following the untimely demise of chairman emeritus Levy P. Laus.

Vice Chairman Jess S. Nicdao was confirmed as chairman of the Board while past president/director Jim B. Jimenez was elected vice chairman. Paul Tristan A. Laus assumes as member of the Board, representing the LausGroup of Companies while Marylou Ramos Tolentino replaced resigned director Cesar Ocampo.

The board resolved to continue the plans, programs and activities set and approved at the beginning of the year under the guidance and direction of PamCham’s chairman emeritus.

Among the programs and projects are the following: prime countryside business by giving support and partnering with local government units and national government agencies on programs that will promote economic development in Pampanga; continue to echo the issues and concerns of the business community to the local and national government; fulfilling its mission of empowering local homegrown companies through advocacies that will encourage patronization of local products and services, especially of member companies; organization of events that will foster fellowship, business matching and networking among member companies; encourage member participation in PamCham’s working committees that are strategically designed to undertake the chamber’s two major tasks namely business promotion and business advocacy.
