A HOMEGROWN Cebuano premier barber shop with a modern-day twist, Cut & Shave Lounge (CSL), in collaboration with SuperStudio—a project of architect Cessa Gaston and Vito Selma—celebrated the recent grand opening of its SM Seaside City Cebu branch. CSL in SM Seaside is located on the third level, Mountain Wing.
With highly trained barbers and professional staff members, the variety of services—using advanced cutting tools by WAHL Professional 5-Star Series—includes the CSL Cut, a Full Shave, a Chair Massage or a combination of all three, the CSL Signature Service. Also introducing CSL’s new facial service, using the Guinot range of products, the list of pamper packages are the CSL Signature Service, the Hydraclean Facial and the Quick Facial, instantly removing dead skin cells and improving skin elasticity.
For CSL’s chief executive officer Juliene Rose Lim, the design for Cut & Shave Lounge at SM Seaside was developed to represent the inspiration of nature through sea and water. Its midnight blue walls and charcoal grey facade portray a high-end ambiance of the deep blue sea. The geometric tiles laid out throughout the flooring symbolize the contrasts between light and dark in nature. An eclectic mix of furniture and accessories from Archipelago, offers its customers a comfortable space to lounge in. Touches of gold are seen at the counter to give the shop the feel of brightness and sunlight.
CSL is also highlighting a young artist namely Yxandro Romualdez, who created two special works showcased at the barber shop itself.
Other Cut & Shave Lounge branches are located at SM City Cebu, Robinsons Place Ormoc and Ayala Capitol Central Bacolod.
