1 dead, 1 injured in shooting incidents in Tacloban

A PERSON died and another was injured in two separate shooting incidents in Tacloban City, Monday, June 3.

The first shooting incident happened around 6:40 a.m. in front of Nutribake Inc., YKS Complex, in Barangay 68 Anibong, where riding-in-tandem assassins shot Eduardo Abrahan Sr., 50.

Initial investigation revealed the victim was checking his truck that was parked in front of YKS Compound when two still unidentified men shot him thrice, hitting Abrahan in the different parts of his body.

Abrahan, a resident of Barangay 68 Anibong, was brought to the hospital for medical attention. The gunmen fled after shooting the victim.

Motive is yet to be determined, according to the Tacloban City Police Office-Station 2.

Some five kilometers away from Anibong, another man was shot dead by still unidentified hitmen in Barangay 95-A Caibaan around 4 p.m.

Police have yet to disclose the victim's identity.
