By the end of the year, he said the DENR and the city will choose the group who consistently maintained the cleanliness of the coastal areas.

The DENR has also launched the Green Gainer Contest, a weight loss contest for city hall employees, which aims to remove junk food in their lifestyle and adopt a "green life". The weighing in will start on July 1, while the final weighing in will be on December.

A Tree for Your Blood, blood-letting activity was also held yesterday for the kids with leukemia. For every blood donation, a person will get tree named after him, to be planted by Clenro.

On June 5, a city-wide plogging will be conducted from Bulua to Bugo highway.
