KALIBO, Aklan -- A dog owner threw a birthday bash for three of his dogs Tuesday, June 4.
Albert Manalo said his dogs named Mikko and Nick turned one year old Tuesday, while another dog, Samuel, will celebrate his ninth birthday on June 26. They are all aspin (asong Pinoy) dogs.
During the birthday celebration, Manalo also gave P4,000 to Cyle of Altavas, Aklan, who lost his left leg in a vehicular accident last year.
"The cash gift was handed by my kababayans in Altavas, Aklan who saw Cyle's condition. A migrant abroad has pledged to send P1,000 all throughout his lifetime," Manalo said.
In January this year, Manalo grabbed the limelight for giving a dog, Nikki, a decent burial. Nikki was a Japanese spit breed. She died of heart attack.
"I love taking care of my dogs so much. May the message of the birthday celebrations bring awareness to everyone to love their pets," Manalo said. (SunStar Philippines
