Ceneco sets power interruption on June 7

CENTRAL Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. announced that maintenance activities will be conducted on June 7, affecting its consumers connected to Murcia Feeder 2 (MuF2).

This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions, Ceneco said.

Power interruption starts at 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. in the whole municipalities of Murcia and Salvador Benedicto, except for Blumentritt Proper, Canla-on View Subdivision and Tanduay due to mid-span erection of 40 feet three-phase concrete primary pole for the tapping pole of liquid packaging.

Consumers were also advised that in the event of any power interruption, electrical switches should be turned off for safety reasons.

"When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge," said Ceneco.

For inquiries, call the Ceneco call center at telephone numbers 458-6777 local 1101, 1102, 1103 and 1107. (PR)
