Unom ka mga korona ang ilogan sa 40 ka mga kandidata nga naglakip sa Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, Binibining Pilipinas Globe, ug Binibining Pilipinas Grand International.
Dili sad bentahaan ang tulo sa atong mga pambato sa Cebu nga puros mga beterana na sa pageant ug mga pageant title-holder usab.
Kini sila mao si SAMANTHA ASHLEY LO (Binibining Cebu Tourism 2017 ug Philippine representative sa Best Model of the World 2018 sa Istanbul);
ILENE ASTRID DE VERA sa Mandaue City (Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 ug Miss Asia Pacific International 2017 4th runner-up);
GAZINI CHRISTIANA GANADOS sa Talisay city (Top 15 sa Miss World Philippines 2014 ug parehong runner-up sa Reyna ng Aliwan 2015 ug Miss Bohol 2017).
Usa usab sa mga paborito sa Bb. Pilipinas 2019 ang girlfriend sa aktor nga si Jason Abalos nga si VICKIE MARIE RUSHTON sa Negros Occidental (Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 ug Binibining Pilipinas 2018 1st Runner Up).
Si Rushton nisikat dihang nahimo siyang housemate sa Pinoy Big Brother All-In diin nidaug siyang 4th runner-up.

Oh! I personally hope that all the representatives from Cebu specifically the queens from KF Cebu (Kagandahang Flores), Ilene de Vera (Mandaue city) and Gazini Ganados (Talisay city) will win a crown and represent our country in an international pageant because they worked really hard to get this opportunity. As for the Miss Universe Philippines, I’m still figuring it out ‘cause Catriona truly made the standards really high and I can’t predict who can it be. I’m looking forward for the coronation night because that’s the night where we’ll be able to see who can conquer the universe and give us a possible back to back win.

Para nako ang Top 6 nga ni-stand out gyud sa press presentation, interviews and everything silang Gazini Ganados (Talisay city), Ilene De Vera (Mandaue), Patricia Magtanong (Bataan), Samantha Bernardo (Palawan), Hannah Arnold (Masbate) ug Emma Tiglao (Pampanga). Pero ganahan ko si Gazini ang mo-represent sa Philippines sa Miss Universe.

Top 5: Gazini Ganados; Vickie Rushton; Ilene de Vera; Hannah Arnold. I guess Vickie will get one of the titles this year but I don’t think she’ll be able to get the Bb. Pilipinas-Universe crown. A lot of people are rooting for Gazini to win the title of Miss Universe Philippines. I’m hoping and praying that she will impress the judges and become the first Cebuana to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.

Honestly, I’ve only had glimpses of this seasons’ BBP journey but by far among the strong contenders for me on this year’s batch are Vicky Rushton (Negros Occ), Samantha Bernardo (Palawan), Emma Tiglao (Pampanga), Atty. Patricia Magtanong (Bataan), Gazini Ganados (Talisay city), Ilene de Vera (Mandaue city), and Sherry Ann Tormes (Albay). I know most of these girls personally and some were my batchmates from BBP 2018. It may seem biased but I think you’ll agree with me when I say these girls worked more than twice as hard to prepare for this season and these girls deserve such recognition. I guess we’ll have to wait and see on the June 9 who will be the next to raise our flag!
