5 ‘most wanted’ in MisOr nabbed

AUTHORITIES have arrested five people wanted for different charges in separate police operations in Misamis Oriental early this week.

Police were armed with arrest warrants when they nabbed four people identified as Nesty Beronio, 20; Abel Templado, 20; Grant John Babanto, 18; and another minor; all residents of Cabug, Medina town, on Tuesday, June 4.

The four suspects are facing frustrated homicide charges with bail bond fixed at P72,000 each.

Meanwhile, police have also arrested the number one most wanted person in the municipality, Tuesday night.

Members of the Criminal Investigation and Detectiong Group (CIDG) in Misamis Oriental and the Provincial Intelligence Branch carried out a court order to arrest 27 years old Eugene Sorronio who is facing a rape case.

All suspects are now detained and will be tried in court.

Provincial police director Colonel Rolando Destura lauded his men for the arrest of wanted persons in the province, even as he encouraged the police to continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate all forms of criminality.
