Takbo para sa Kalikasan on Sunday (5:04 p.m.)

MANILA -- Love for the endangered Pasig River topbills the cause of ABS-CBN's “Takbo para sa Kalikasan Year 11” on February 28 (Sunday).

The fun run to be held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila will start at 5 a.m.

Race categories include 3K, 5K, and 10K aside from special categories like Biggest Kapamilya Contingent (ABS-CBN department, subsidiary, group or company), Youngest and Oldest Runner, and Biggest Government, Non-government organization (NGO) and Student contingent.

Special prizes will also be given the participants aside from the three winners for each category run.

Proceeds from this year's “Takbo para sa Kalikasan” will be donated to the Pasig River rehabilitation project through Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig (KBPIP) of the ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. (AFI).

Registration Fee is P250 while students have a discounted rate of P200.

The race is open for ages 6 to 12 for the 3k run while 5K and 10K runners must be at least 13 years old .(Virgil Lopez/Sunnex)
