WHEN one or two special celebrations have to be properly coordinated and executed on an almost daily basis, the team at the Radisson Blu Cebu is experienced with event organization, to say the least. With events being held at the luxury property all year round, the hotel team knows backwards and forwards how exciting and overwhelming wedding planning, in particular, can be.
If you or someone among your family or friends is tying the knot soon, the fifth year of the hotel’s signature bridal fair, “Something Blu: A Wedding of a Kind,” is coming up next weekend. Soon-to-be brides and grooms can visit The Northwing atrium at SM City Cebu on June 15 and 16 to check which wedding packages, suppliers and event services can cater to their preferences and help them prepare for the day they celebrate their union. This is definitely worth a visit, as registered couples have the chance to win romantic getaways in Radisson hotels in North Edsa, Phu Quoc, Shanghai and Bangkok.
In a separate contest, a very lucky couple in love stands to win “Your Dream Wedding On Us,” a full wedding package gifted by the Radisson Cebu Cebu, complete with dinner and beverages for 100 guests, wedding bands by DiaGold, a nuptial photo shoot by Rock Paper Scissors Photography, a bridal gown by Disegno Dado, and a bridal bouquet by Cuckoo Cloud Concepts. Call the hotel for mechanics right away, as couples have to submit a creative video that meets criteria before 6 p.m. this Monday, June 10.
To update their regular event suppliers and media partners of these wedding campaigns, the hotel’s public relations and events team invited us to a garden “glamping” party beautifully set up by Cuckoo Cloud Concepts, with bohemian tents set up beneath pretty lanterns and handmade dreamcatchers. After talking shop, public relations manager Lara Verdan Agua and DJ/host Ryan Uybengkee had everyone in high spirits with fun games, plus raffle prizes generously given by the hotel and its partner suppliers and sponsors. This writer was lucky enough to win a roundtrip ticket to Legazpi courtesy of Cebu Pacific Air. What’s not to love?
