POLICE arrested an alleged drug personality in Ormoc City Monday morning, June 10.
Authorities identified the suspect as Lito Gonzalo, 34, single, and a resident of the city.
A police personnel who acted as poseur buyer was able to purchase from Gonzalo one piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P500.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession and control were one P500 bill with SN EH200072 used as drug bust money, one piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu,” two cellphones and cash amounting to P10,000, according to the police.
The suspect is now in the custody of Police Station 3 and cases for violation of Section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 are being readied against him. (SunStar Philippines)
