Billy Crawford defends self on issues

INTERNATIONAL singing star and “Pilipinas Got Talent” host Billy Crawford clears rumors that he's very strict with girlfriend Nikki Gil.

In a television interview with Billy, he said his strictness is not the reason why Nikki still refuses to pose for men's magazine.

“I never looked at her in that way. On me lang I never see her posing for a men’s magazine,” he said.

Billy however stressed that everything will depend on his girlfriend and she can expect a 100 percent support from him.

He also denies issues surfacing in the entertainment circuit that he's always jealous with Nikki.

“Hindi naman sa sobrang seloso, pag hindi mo naman pinagseselosan ang mahal mo parang wala lang. Pero hindi ko kino-control ang buhay nya na over protective ako sa kanya. No, not at all,” he said.

When asked on his reaction when Nikki is paired with actor Coco Martin, Billy said he already heard a lot of things about that.

“Matagal ko na din alam yun. I've been there sa tapings nila. I trust Nikki with everything,” he said.

He told Sun.Star in an earlier interview that though he's very secure with Nikki and Coco as friends, he can't go beyond seeing them sharing a kissing scene on screen.

He also said they (Coco) are good friends and there's no reason for him to get jealous because they are only doing their job.

Billy meanwhile is happy to share that he did a song for Nikki titled "You Are My Life."

When asked on his "Pilipinas Got Talent," Billy said that more entertaining numbers are in line for the viewers.

“Happy-ing happy kami ni Luis and excited and marami pa silang dapat abangan (Luis and I are very happy and there a lot more to come),” he said.

Billy likewise is just ignoring "compare" issue with co-host Luis.

“Its fine, that's in people's eyes. Pag dalawa naman talaga ang tao sa show, they always compare pero sa amin ni Luis as long as we are doing our job, no problem,” he said.

Aside from “Pilipinas Got Talent,” Billy also appears in "ASAP XV." (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
