Indonesian with over P8-M drugs arrested in airport

AN Indonesian national was arrested upon his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after suspected illegal drugs were detected in his baggage.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) spokesperson Derrick Carreon identified the arrested suspect as Agus Burhan, 62, who arrived in NAIA around 6 p.m. on June 12, 2019.

Confiscated from Agus were at least 1,600 kilograms of suspected cocaine with a street value of over P8.7 million. (Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo/SunStar Philippines)
