Lectors organize free medical activity in Mandaue City

THE lectors’ ministry of Holy Family Parish held a free medical and dental mission in Barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

The group initiated the activity as its way of supporting priests Francois Kalonda and Eugene Arco.

Doctors and dentists from Camp Lapu-Lapu, the headquarters of Armed Forces of the Philippines-Central Command in Cebu City, participated in the activity.

The Mandaue City Health Office’s medical personnel also supported the lectors’ ministry, which initiated the community service as one of the activities for the 27th foundation anniversary of the parish and patronal fiesta honoring the Holy Family on Friday, June 14.

The parish’s lectors’ ministry thanked the doctors and dentists who shared their expertise and helped the poor.
