THIRTY-FIVE police units of Police Regional Office–Cordillera (PRO-COR) were awarded the proficiency seal and eagle award for accomplishing the hallmark of a successful strategic execution and management facilitated by strategy partners.
Police Brigadier General Allan Cuevillas, deputy for internal police operations (DIPO) together with PRO-COR director Police Brigadier Gen Israel Ephraim Dickson led the distribution of 13 awards for all of Benguet’s municipalities including its Provincial Mobil Force Command (PMFC), 11 municipalities of Ifugao Province including its PMFC, and the municipalities of Kalinga and its PFMC.
The Gold Eagle Award were given to an area who garnered a 96 percent proficiency rating, while a Silver Eagle was awarded to those who garnered 90 to 95.99 percent proficiency rating.
Benguet Police Provincial Office’s La Trinidad and Bakun Municipal Police Station were awarded with a Gold Eagle Award while its Provincial Mobile Force together and 11 municipalities all reviewed a Silver Eagle award.
Ifugao’s PMFC including and the Lagawe MPS received a Golden Eagle award, while its 11 municipalities received a Silver Eagle award.
In the Province of Kalinga, the Rizal MPS was the only recipient of the Gold Eagle award with its seven municipalities and its PMFC receiving the Silver Eagle award.
The PNP performance governance system is comprised of four stages: initiation, compliance, proficiency and institutionalization with the end-purpose of addressing organizational dysfunctions and improve the quality of the delivery of police services in the country.
The proficiency evaluation process includes the strategic readiness test, performance audit and unit revalidation which were conducted focusing on the alignment of the activities, projects, and initiatives to the strategy.
