Motorcycle slams into Ceres bus in Toboso; 3 teens killed

THREE people were killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a Ceres bus in Sitio Cutva Hagnaya,Barangay Tabun-ac, Toboso Thursday morning, June 13.

The victims were identified as Junrey bawaan, 19, resident of Sitio Bug-as, Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, who died on the spot while the two others Arnel Selma, 18, and Windel Montejo, 15, both residents of So. Bug-as, Purok Antipolo, Barangay Balintawak were taken to the hospital but did not make it alive to the Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo District Hospital also in Escalante City.

Based on the report of the Toboso PNP, around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, the three victims were on board a motorcycle and were drag racing with another motorcycle. While they were approaching on the curve area, they collided with the Ceres bus that was on the opposite direction.

The driver of the Ceres bus surrendered to the authorities and is in the custody of Toboso police station for proper disposition.(TDE)
