TWO persons in the priority target list of Bukidnon Provincial Government were arrested Friday by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Northern Mindanao operatives.

Arrested through buy-bust operation at Purok 2, Poblacion, Valencia City around 3 p.m. were businesswoman Alice Canque, 45, married, and Leonilo Carreon Jr., 44, married.

Also arrested was PO2 Asterio Pamisa Jr., 35, married, and a dismissed potential non-commissioned officer (PNCO).

The suspects are all residents of Purok 2, Poblacion in Valencia City.

Canoy and Lebradilla were arrested after selling two pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu to an undercover agent.

Recovered from Canque and Carreon were one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, two pieces P500 as marked money, one piece necklace with dragon pendant, one piece Rado watch, one male ring and P5,500 cash money believed to be the proceeds from illegal drugs.

Also recovered from the possession of Pamisa was one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared against the suspects.
