KNOWN as the “heart” and also volume driver of the brand, the 3 Series by BMW makes a return with an elevated sense of familiarity the model is known for. The G20, the seventh generation of the sports sedan, impresses in both performance and aesthetics.
The German automotive manufacturer is known for its luxury cars and its impeccably classic styles—this iteration certainly does not disappoint. The G20 features a sportier and younger look, amping up the premium of the brand. Sleek lines run the exterior, while rich Vernasca leather upholstery sheath the interior.
The all-new G20 can go from 0 to 100 kilometers in 5.8 seconds—a testament to its power. It also has 50/50 weight distribution, which means there is no oversteering or understeering. The driver can shift between three driving modes depending on his preference: Sport, Comfort and Eco Pro.
The new model was made to be driver-oriented, being equipped with user-friendly features such as LED headlights and fog lights, park assist, rain sensors, automatic tailgate, electric seat adjustment, exterior mirror with anti-dazzle and ambient lighting.
For the driver’s leisure, it comes with an 8.8” iDrive 6.0 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay compatibility. The model also received a five-star rating from NCAP, which guarantees buyers that this is one of the safest vehicles currently out there in the market.
Compared to its predecessor the F30, which was released in 2012, the G20 is 55 kg lighter, 3.3” longer, has more legroom and updated interiors. The 480 liters of boot capacity also make it a great vehicle to take on road trips, whether solo or with company.
Moving forward, all sedans by BMW Philippines will have petrol engines which means there will be no more diesel variants, for the country exclusively at least. With the utmost satisfaction of clients in mind, the BMW 3 Series now comes with a five-year warranty, which is three more years than the warranty of its previous model.

On display at Autowelt BMW Cebu are two variants: the 330i Sport and 320i Luxury. Also available for special order is the 340i xDrive, which has 4x4 capabilities. Color options are Alpine White, Mineral Gray, Black Sapphire and Portimao Blue.
