THE Hotel Fortuna/University of Cebu (UC) Junior Webmasters will try to extend their momentum when they clash with the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors in the high school division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Partners Cup on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the USC-Main gym.
UC will aim for its second win in as many games following a convincing victory over the OCCCI/Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens on June 9, 2019.
The Tough Gear/Southwestern University (SWU-Phinma) Baby Cobras will also gun for their second win when they play the CIT-U. The Baby Cobras escaped the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP-F) Baby Panthers last Sunday.
In the college division, the Cebu Landmasters/USC Warriors will face the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars, while the SWU-Phinma Cobras will play Tough Gear/CIT-U.
Last Thursday, the ARQ Builders/University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Green Lancers beat the CIT-U Wildkittens, 91-74, to improve to a 2-0 (win-loss) card in the high school division.
John Banzon paced the Baby Green Lancers with 24 points, Albert Sacayan pitched in 20 and Maynard Bajo contributed 16.
Meanwhile, the Joemangs Surplus-UC defeated the CIT-U, 85-69, in the college division. John Jabello scored 20 while Luigi Gabisan handed 17 points. (RSC)
