Earlier, Osmeña was authorized to sign the deed of donation with the 25 barangays from the first batch, 13 barangays for the second batch and another 13 barangays in the third batch.

In a previous interview, General Services Office (GSO) Chief Ronald Malacora said the vehicles were already earlier assigned to the barangays, but the City decided to donate these to the barangays to transfer ownership and allow the barangays to take over the maintenance of the vehicles.

Councilor Sisinio Andales, who sponsored the resolutions, assured that all barangays will get vehicles.

The GSO is processing the documents needed for the remaining barangays to get their share of donated vehicles. (RVC)
