Estafa charges readied against QuestLink officials

TAGUM City police are readying large-scale estafa charges against the chief executive officer (CEO) of QuestLink Digital Marketing Services, one of the investment schemes here, who has fled.

"Ang i-file gyod sa kadtong mga responsible, which is ang CEO ug ang operation manager, mag-atubangan gyud ni sila'g kaso nga large-scale estafa, non bailable ni sya (The charges that will be filed against those responsible, the CEO and the operations manager, will be large-scale estafa, a non-bailable offense)," Tagum City Police Station spokesperson Police Captain Anjanette Tirador said.

She said the coordinator and agent of QuestLink, identified as Christian Etabes, 23, of Surigao City has approached their office expressing his worry since their CEO, one Kenneth Paz Nagas of Quezon City, and one Rogie Sabando, operations manager and trader, cannot be contacted anymore.

He narrated that their money amounting to P200 million, which came from their “investors” who are mostly residents of Tagum City and Davao de Oro, was in the possession of the CEO and their operations manager.

Based on police investigation, QuestLink started its operation on June 1, 2019 and promised an increase of 500 percent for just 15 days to its investors.

The police units who were assigned by President Rodrigo Duterte to investigate the matter are now conducting deeper probe and searching for more victims to strengthen their case against QuestLink.
