SEVERAL sachets of illegal drugs amounting to over P100,000 were seized by operatives of Pampanga Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) in separate operations conducted recently.
In Mabalacat City, three target-drug personalities identified as John Kenneth Gonzales, 29, Alexis Maglalang, 20, and Regine Wright, 24, were arrested during an anti-illegal drug operation launched in Barangay Dau recently.
Seized from the suspects were five sachets of substance believed to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) with an estimated street value of P25,000 and P500 marked money.
Two more target-listed personalities identified as John Michael Nunag and Noriel Fernandez were nabbed by elements of PDEU in the City of San Fernando during an anti-illegal drug operation launched in Barangay San Isidro.
The duo yielded a total of five large sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P125,000 and the P1,000 marked money used in the operation.
Further investigation revealed that both Nunag and Fernandez, who are both residents of Angeles City, were already arrested and charged before also for their involvement in illegal drugs.
The five suspects are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
