THE most popular sweet treat during the 2019 Formosa Summer Festival is the Mango Ice. Specially grown in Yujing District of the Tropic of Cancer, the mangoes that are harvested during the summer season has the best flavor and texture making it the perfect fruit ice treat.

Aiyu jelly in Chiayi County is equally popular. In the B&Bs and farms along the road of Alishan National Scenic Area, you can see the Aiyu jelly trees while sampling a bowl of crystal-clear Aiyu jelly to cool down the summer heat.

You can find a wide variety of ice delights around Taiwan - Big Bowl Ice in Kaohsiung City and Sakura Shrimp Ice in Pingtung County of Southern Taiwan, Cactus Ice in Penghu of offshore Taiwan, a wide range of ice treats in Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory and Custard Apple Ice in Taitung County of Eastern Taiwan, Hakka Ground Tea Ice in Hsinchu City of Central Taiwan, and Gelidium Jelly Ice in Keelung and Northeast Coast of Northern Taiwan.
