COUPLE Michael and Jojane Morcilla with their sons Jose Miguel, Marc Joji and daughter Megan Jane led the opening of the music lounge on Tuesday, June 18.

Rev. Fr. Rocelo “Celoy” Villarosa blessed the music lounge which is the latest addition to the existing food chain they currently have namely the four Spoonmugnets at C.L. Montelibano, Barangay Villamonte and one near St. John’s Institute at Hilado Street, both in Bacolod City.

The couple had a simple celebration with family and friends after the blessing as their way of expressing their thanksgiving to God Almighty.

The music lounge is a wholesome place to spend pleasantries with friends, family and even students.

Spoonmugnet started in 2015.

“We opened the first Spoonmugnet because our sons and daughter don’t have any place to stay while they were spending their recess, lunch break and even after class. Since their school is just near the location of the first Spoonmugnet, we decided to lease a small space just for our children to have their place to eat, wait and even study. But this has turned out to be our means to open our business,” Jojane said.

It was Michael who did all the designs. The owners were hands-on in their business. They make sure that every customer will be served well. They also take care of the welfare of their employees - waiters and cook. They are on top of everything insofar as the whole operation is concerned.

All these are graces and blessings from God and they are grateful for it, Jojane said.

She also thanked Michael for all his support. She considered him as not just the architect of their Spoonmugnet food chain but their lives as well.
