Abrigo: The trade secret of Kapa

PROVOCATIVE to many or wanton to some because it would be like a salt losing its salinity if I will disclose the trade secret of the defunct Kapa; but doing so is the only gambit to satisfy the cynics about how realistic the 30 percent blessings per month. I said defunct because their SEC registration has been revoked and it would take a lengthy battle of logic and interpretation of statutes to save its face from public branding.

My reliable source said, Apolinario after losing his second bid to politics in 2016, decided to participate in foreign exchange trading from his own pocket with only a little short to P200,000 capitalization. Being blessed, like Joseph in the Bible, he wanted to feed his brothers too in their homeland plagued by famine. He put aside and forgot his frustrations of losing votes by his townspeople, instead invited them to quench with him in the oases he found amidst the vast desert of poverty. And so his ministry Kabus Padatuon (Kapa) saw the first light in Bislig city.

Foreign exchange (forex) trading is the largest, deepest, and the most liquid of all investments in the world. That a P1,000 capital will make an average upshot of P20,000 at the end of the year. Banks and other financial institutions are doing this. Faith-based institutions like Kapa can also engage into this venture legally, only if they can secure a secondary license from the SEC, which Kapa failed.

Had Apolinario and cohorts submitted earlier every bits and details of their modus operandi and trade secret to the regulating body, Kapa should have continued its operation until today free from scrutiny and have alleviated more Filipinos from poverty than any combined efforts of the blathering politicians.

The rapid embargo instigated from the verbal order of the president, created a ripple of public chaos and angst for the future. But can the blitzkrieg Kapa resume its operation? A resounding “Yes”! They could have a day in court to lay down an academic presentation on how feasible is their faith-based maneuvers, to generate the promised 30 percent upturn; then secure a license for that matter.

Kapa’s operation has been proven to be advantageous to the poor and its 30 percent blessings are feasible than any other scheme around, who are offering an astronomical increase. If I were to classify kapa after knowing their trade secret, they are not an investment scheme like Ponzi’s. The massive prayer rallies sporadically conducted by the donor-members are openly supported by businessmen who provided the attendees with free rides or free fuel; supported by the politicians with promises that as soon as they can start by July, legislations to kapa’s favor will be hasten; and supported even by the cluster of indigenous people.

Should the legal battle uphold the unbending law against the deprived, the count of suicide incidents among the member-donors continue and Kapa will be Guinnessed as the largest in the history of scams.
