For the same period, BCPO also filed a total of 719 cases against the drug suspects.

BCPO acting director Police Colonel Henry Binas earlier directed all the station commanders to step up their operations against illegal drugs.

Pico said the 10 police stations were required to conduct at least one operation against illegal drugs every week.

He said that those with zero accomplishment will be subjected for reshuffling upon the assessment of the BCPO chief.

“We are intensifying our drug operations to address the illegal drugs problem in the city,” he added. (MAP)
