WITH a toughened up exterior and robust set of specs, the 2019 Subaru Forester is ready to take you on your next adventure.
The fifth generation Forester is for all the thrill seekers out there who want to get rugged in style. On the outside, one can already tell that the vehicle’s made to conquer the outdoors, from its signature grille, full-bodied hood and sharp headlights.
Equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve boxer engine, the Forester can be counted upon to deliver in power. It also comes with either the standard Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission or Symmetrical All Wheel Drive.
On the dashboard are three LCD screens, each one fundamental to the driving experience: a 4.2” instrument cluster, a 6.3” multi-function display and an 8.0” touchscreen as the head unit of the infotainment system. All these are integrated with Subaru Starlink, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Even though the compact crossover SUV is known to rough it out, the interiors add the right amount of contrast with polished touches such as leather seats and dual-zone climate control with rear vents. The 2019 Forester also has a roomier cabin thanks to the 30-mm longer wheelbase.
The Japanese automobile manufacturer made sure to properly equip the Forester so every adventure is a worry-free one. Safety features include seven airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control and ISOFIX child seats. Mid and top variants get Subaru’s cutting-edge EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, which has adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and sway warning.
The all-new Forester comes in three variants: The i-L non-EyeSight, i-L EyeSight and the i-S EyeSight. Colors available are Ice Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Crystal White Pearl, Crystal Black Silica, Sepia Bronze Metallic, Jasmine Green Metallic and Quartz Blue Pearl.
