THE Bacolod City Government Employees Union (BCEGU) held its Employees Day on June 14.
Part of their activities was the staging of the search for Mr. Macho and Ms. Gwapita.
The male candidate representing the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) and the female candidate from the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) were crowned Mr. Macho and Ms. Gwapita 2019 at a pageant held at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds.
Maverick Allen Aguilar of Cluster 3 was hailed Mr. Macho and also bagged all special awards: Best in Production, Best in Sportswear, Best in Talent, and Best in Themed Costume.
Sherry Ann Alibawan of Cluster 2 was chosen Ms. Gwapita, aside from winning Best in Production.
Aguilar’s court included 1st runner-up Jason Ligaya of City Tourism Office (Cluster 1), 2nd runner-up Joshua Alonsagay of Bacolod City College (Cluster 4), and 3rd runner-up; Marlo Darla of the City Mayor’s Office (Cluster 3).
Alibawan’s court included 1st runner-up Jenny Hornoz of CDRRMO (Cluster 4), 2nd runner-up Cyra Ploteña of City Tourism Office (Cluster 1), and 3rdrunner-up Camela Gonzales of DSSD (Cluster 3).
Ploteña also bagged Best in Sportswear, Best in Talent, and Best in Themed Costume.
BCGEU president Allyn Luv Dignadice of the City Administrator’s Office and her fellow officers awarded the prizes.
The BCGEU Employees’ Union was part of the weeklong “Mga Adlaw sang Paghanduraw” from June 12 to 20, 2019.
