THE Association of Negros Producers (ANP), through its Board of Directors, paid tribute to outgoing Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. for his support to the organization in rites held at Seda Capitol Central in Bacolod City Thursday night, June 20.

The association led by its president Arlene Infante lauded Marañon’s support for the launching of Arima Night as the opening salvo of the annual Negros Trade Fair being held in Makati City.

Marañon, who served as governor for three consecutive terms, has been a key player in pushing for Negros Occidental’s participation in the trade missions like the Manila Fame and various national and international food exhibitions like Madrid Fusion, among others.

ANP also has a strong partnership with the provincial government in collaboration with the German Ministry for the WeTrace Philippines Program that provides technical and farm facilities to small farmers.
