FABulous People

SOON, a Baguio scholar and artist Virgilio Paterno, formerly from the University of Baguio Science High School and Saint Louis University, and the youngest member of the Baguio Arts Guild will astound us with his paintings of the Cordillera people. He has spent his time in Malaysia with his works on the Iban indigenous people.

Paterno is scheduled to meet Cordillera anthropologists and historians for this monumental project. The Cordillera series paintings will be a traveling exhibit. Paintings will be displayed in Malaysia then back to Baguio.

It will indeed be a great link between Sarawak, Borneo and the Philippines.

"The rich mixtures of skin colors, cultures, languages, arts and crafts are very similar to ours," Paterno says.

Booked up to next year, Paterno has exhibited at Dr. Cuanang's Boston Gallery, Tipos del Pais, and soon at the prestigious Antipolo Pinto Gallery which he is still conceptualizing.

The Bridal Café Philippines, a new concept in Bridal and Events planning all in one roof, creating a fair platform for all event suppliers to reach out to their clients.

Member suppliers get to be included in the national and international directory. A supplier's library, a co-working space, secretarial and apprentice/staff services are also offered. Exhibit walls, designer's corner, a glam room, baker's corner, caterers, florists and stylist's corner, ceiling picture tiles and a venue are readily made available.

Decision and planning becomes more convenient for clients. Catch Marestar and Alfred Leal at the Summer Pines Residences Marcos Highway.

Kudos to both of you for these wonderful and bright ideas. Lifetime memories shall surely be made at ease and to perfection at the Bridal Café Philippines. A first in the Cordillera.
