Photo Ops: Looking back, giving back

GIVING back to the people who helped and supported us through time is an indication that we have not forgotten their contribution to our life.

This act is what Senator-elect Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go made through his ceaseless service to the Filipinos, especially the Dabawenyos.

Last Friday, June 14, 2019, the "national photobomber" spent his day in Davao City and roam around three different places. He even personally gave out his heartfelt gratitude to the people for their support.

Go went first to Calinan and had his second stop in District 2 where thousands of residents flocked at the St. Francis Xavier Parish Church in Tibungco.

Before his arrival, the people were entertained by various performances from some known performers present such as Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Celebrity Edition 2 grand winner Ruben Gonzaga and James Ronald Obeso of Moymoy Palaboy with his band.

Aside from the fun shows, people also enjoyed the games and prizes during the event.

Unexplainable joy was painted on the faces of the people when Go arrived. The senator-elect personally greeted the people with hugs and selfies.

After the activity in Tibungco, Go went to Davao City Recreational Center or Almendras Gym in Quezon Boulevard where another thousands of residents had been waiting.

After his presence at the Almendras Gym, he went straight to the Delongtes Restaurant at Tulip Drive where his team distributed food packs and school supplies to more than 200 Indigenous People (IP) children.

The activities that day were part of Go's celebration for his 45th birthday.
