THE Cadiz City PNP arrested a rape suspect who is considered as number 2 most wanted person in Negros.
The suspect was identified as Wilfredo Nicor, 54, of Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City.
He was arrested on June 21 in the same Barangay by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Reginald Fuentebella of RTC Branch 60 in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The suspect was placed under the custodial facility of Cadiz City PNP for proper disposition.
Meanwhile a motorcycle driver died in a vehicular accident in Barangay Lopez Jaena, Murcia on June 21.
The victim was identified as Jomar oay of, 37, of the same Barangay.
Based on police report, a passenger jeep driven by Richard Santillana was travelling east bound and upon reaching at Purok Santol, Barangay Lopez Jaena, was bumped at the rear portion by a motorcycle with sidecar which was travelling in the same direction. The victim suffered serious physical injury and was rushed by Murcia ambulance to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival.
The driver of the passenger jeep was placed under the custody of Murcia PNP for proper disposition. (TDE)
