PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has promoted Kapampangan Walter Ocampo, former director of the Bureau of Construction, as new Department of Public Works and Highways assistant secretary.
The President signed the papers of Ocampo, who replaced Gilberto Reyes, and 23 other appointments on June 18.
A native of Barangay Dolores in the City of San Fernando, Ocampo is an Outstanding Fernandino Awardee and president of the Federation of Home Owners Association in San Fernando. He has been in government service for 40 years. (PR)
