Int'l firm trains Baciwa on customer relations

GERMAN organization Sachsen Wasser has trained personnel of Bacolod City Water District (Baciwa) mainly on improving its relations with its stakeholders particularly consumers.

Sachsen Wasser, an international consulting and training company that specializes in water utilities, has projects all over the world focusing on improving customer relations.

The four-day training held at Seda Capitol Central in Bacolod City until June 21 covered all areas of operations of the water district.

These included application, maintenance, supply, billing, payment, complaint management, information dissemination and corporate social responsibility (CSR) among others.

Resource person Dr. Jurgen Wummel discussed the topics on customer management, handling customer complaint and conducting customer satisfaction survey on the services of Baciwa.

The training-workshop is an initial activity under the "Water management Philippines Innovates Project."

The project is in partnership among Baciwa, Sachssen Wasser, Fraunhoffer Foundation, Association of Negros Producers and Technical Education Skills Development Authority in Western Visayas.
