POLICE Colonel Roderick Mariano formally assumed office as Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) director during the turnover ceremony held Tuesday, June 25.
Mariano, who was formally assigned at the National Capital Region (NCR), replaced Colonel Manuel Abrugena.
Abrugena will be assigned to NCR.
Mariano said it is his first time in Cebu and assured that he will continue President Rodrigo Duterte's directive to fight illegal drugs.
The new Cebu provincial director also urged his men to work as a team to serve the Cebuanos and continue the fight against illegal drugs and all forms of criminalities. (Wenilyn Sabalo)
