SKATEBOARD enthusiasts in Bacolod City and other neighboring towns and cities in Negros Occidental recently gathered at the Bacolod Public Plaza to celebrate “Go Skateboarding Day.”
This is an annual international holiday created by the International Association of Skateboard Companies.
The Bacolod event was spearheaded by event coordinator Rayan Rillo of Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Skateboarding is an action sport which involves riding and performing tricks using a skateboard, as well as a recreational activity, an art form, an entertainment industry job, and a method of transportation.
Some enthusiasts said that they love this action-packed sport where they can gain more friends aside from enjoying the tricky ride.
