THREE persons were hurt, while five vehicles were damaged after a bucket cement mixer fell off a construction site in Ortigas, Pasig City Wednesday morning, June 26, 2019.
Pasig City police community precinct 1 commander Lieutenant Marie Bala said based on initial investigation, the cable of the equipment was cut off while it was being transported toward the stairs of a building, which is being constructed on Garnet St. in Ortigas.
Witnesses said the bucket fell from the ninth floor of the 20-story building.
The injured persons were brought to a hospital for treatment. They are already in stable condition.
The safety officers of the construction site vowed assistance to the affected people.
