‘Customer service at its best’

THIS is the line emphasized by Roel Venus, consumer services division chief of Ceneco, as main resource speaker and trainer on excellent customer service for managers, supervisors and employees of two customary restaurants here in Bacolod City.

Venus is an accredited national trainer of the United States Agency for International Development (Usaid) on customer services and is also a part-time college and graduate school professor at University of St. La Salle, La Consolacion College and STI-West Negros University.

He is oftentimes invited to be a resource speaker on a multitude of topics which include Customer Service, Youth Leadership, Student Empowerment, Enhancing People Skills, among others.

Venus discussed the importance of customers in every establishment, as he emphasized that customers are always the King of our business.

“Without them, we will never survive; thus, we need to serve them as they pay for our daily needs and send our children to school,” he said.

He is also a trainer of all electric cooperatives in the country on customer service.
