FOR the 55th anniversary of Hijos de Davao, the muse picked was a young woman of both beauty and wit. The 18-year-old daughter of Yuri Cabaguio Allado and Roselle Papa Allado is both a performing artist and an academic achiever.
Alessandra Dominique Allado, or Annika as what her family and friends fondly calls her, grew up performing on stage. Her being a performer started out as Brigitta Von Trapp in Resorts World Manila’s Sound of Music. After that, she was featured in Resorts World’s King & I and Trumpet’s Bluebird the musical.
Aside from her involvement in arts, Annika is also the president of the athletic committee of their school where she spearheads school sporting events. As an honor student, she also leads the National Honour Society wherein she was able to raise funds for more than 40 cleft palette patients up for Operation Smile surgery.
Despite her arts and civic involvement, Annika never fails to top her class consistently. Recently, she graduated Cum Laude of the International School of Manila. She looks forward to taking up Mechanical Engineering in Duke University in North Carolina.
