A SUSPECTED drug personality was arrested after he allegedly yielded P6.5 million worth of illegal drugs in an anti-narcotics operation in Lanao del Norte on Thursday afternoon, June 27, 2019.
In a report, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Northern Mindanao Director Wilkins Villanueva identified the arrested suspect as Jalil Akil Linog alias Malik.
He will be facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He said Linog was arrested in a drug bust conducted by PDEA and police officers at a gasoline station in West Poblacion, Balo-I, Lanao del Norte around 3:30 p.m. of June 27.
Recovered from Linog’s motorcycle were at least a kilo of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride placed in 10 transparent plastic packs. The haul has an estimated value of P6.5 million. (SunStar Philippines)
