FASHION reflects a continuous process of change in the style of the apparel that are deemed acceptable. Undoubtedly, high fashion is forever on top. However, not everyone can get their hands on haute couture and designer clothes.

In Bacolod City, there is a constant surge of prêt-à-porter (pre-da-por-TEY), otherwise known as RTWs, since the dawning of Department Stores throughout the city (remember Servando’s?). These off-the-pegs are often “high street” knock offs which are quite irresistible to a wide variety of Bacoleño consumers.

In celebration of the Freedom Month, the Blackout Models strut away for Freedom Runway while donning some edgy Off-the-Rack apparel by Metro Department Store in Ayala Capitol Central Bacolod. The Freedom Runway Event featured only the Blackout Bacolod Prime for a Pre-10th Anniversary Special.

The models were prepped and dressed by Mr. Pat Sebunga, Ads & Promo Officer and Ms. Victoria Ferolino, Store Manager of Metro Department Store and Supermarket

Ditto, the models did an escalator runway show before walking along the main runway. The Metro Department Store Management Team also joined the fashion event by showcasing various apparel on the runway.

The bottom line is, fashion is not just for the privileged but for everyone with the taste. It’s not about how much you can afford, but it’s definitely a matter of style.
