WHETHER you’re looking to hang back for a long period of time or in a rush, food courts in malls are there for all intents and purposes. There’s nothing like being surrounded by wall-to-wall food choices, presenting different cuisines from local fare to international flavors.
At Robinsons Galleria Cebu’s food court, one hit spot is Persian Avenue, serving Middle Eastern-inspired fare with that Filipino touch.
Staying true to its slogan “It’s Handy Delicious,” it serves two kinds of wraps: The beef wrap that’s made with 100 percent sirloin mixed with all the trimmings like tomato, cucumber, lettuce and onion topped with its signature garlic sauce; and its chicken pesto wrap topped with lettuce for crispiness and coated with cheese. It also serves five rice meals served with the signature Persian Avenue rice: chicken kebab, grilled chicken, chicken wings, pork kebab and ground beef soltani rice.
Persian Avenue is a brand founded in 2014 based in Pampanga, which made its way to Cebu City with the Robinsons Galleria Cebu branch being the first that opened in 2016.
From then, Persian Avenue started branching out within the city with one branch at One Pavilion Mall in Banawa, Cebu City and another in Pacific Mall, Mandaue City.
“As of now, we have 42 branches,” said Persian Avenue managing partner Auddy Tan, sharing more on the brand’s goals.
“We are going for over 75 by end of 2019. Here in Cebu, we’re looking at at least five branches by end of 2019.” (Contributed Photos)
