FANS of Disney Princesses will surely fall in love with the Happy Skin Disney Comfy Squad Collection.
The collection features 19 beauty products that will fit the personalities of different modern day princesses, whether they are at work, at a party, or just want to simply look good.
"In 2016 we did a launch of Disney and Happy Skin. We wanted to do it again because a lot of people have been asking us to. We asked ourselves, how can we do it differently? What kind of princess do we show? And then we realized, in this day and age you really want to be more authentic and modern. You do not always have to look so glammed up. Even if you are princess you want days to chill out and relax," said Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez, Happy Skin and chief executive officer (CEO).
She said they took inspiration from the scene in Ralph, Breaks the Internet where Vanellope was in the dressing room with Disney Princesses. In this scene, there was a clip of the princesses chatting with Vanellope while wearing comfortable clothes instead of the regular gowns.
Diane Tan Carreon, Happy Skin managing partner, said for this collection, they have developed 19 beauty products, the biggest Happy Skin collection for the year. They are also introducing new Happy Skin formats that they will be launching in this collection. These new formats are the Moisturizing Matte Lip Click, Vivid Cotton Lip Mousse, Multi-use Mousse, and Cooling Lip Gloss. Other products included in the collection are the Tin Can Sets, Express Gel Polish, and the Eyes Trio.
The Happy Skin Disney Comfy Squad Collection was launched in Davao City at the Chimes Flagship Store along Governor Sales Street.
Modern day princess, Chii Gibs, made a special appearance during the launch. She identifies herself with Queen Elsa from Frozen. She said she relates to Elsa as an older sister and running her business. Her favorite products are the Elsa Vivid Cotton Lip Mousse and the Nap Queen Multi Use Mousse.
Celebrity make-up artist Jigs Mayuga was also there to demonstrate how the ladies can use and be creative with the Happy Skin Disney Comfy Squad Collection.

Moisturizing Matte Lip Click "is a new innovation that always releases a fresh lip product with every use — you only get what you need in every click!" The tip is in a tear drop shape making it easy to apply for the lips.
Vivid Cotton Lip Mousse
Vivid Cotton Lip Mousse has a cotton tip where a creamy formula comes out. The "innovative cotton cushion tip gives a unique sheer, soft matte finish that is weightless on the lips."
Multi Use Mousse
Multi-use Mousse is a "multi-purpose mousse makeup that features a unique formula with an extra creamy and bouncy texture, generous payoff, and easy application." This can be used on the eyes, cheeks, and body. This comes in two shades -- Nap Queen (carnation pink) and Beast Friend Forever (Champagne).
Cooling Lip Gloss
For this first time, Happy Skin will be introducing their lip gloss through the Comfy Squad collection. The Cooling Lip Gloss has peppermint milk and is not sticky. It also gives a shiny finish despite not having glitters.
Eyes Trio
The Happy Skin Disney Perfect Eyes Trio, is the perfect eye make-up for the ladies who are always on the go. The Eye Trio has a "three-prong trident felt-tip which mimics brow hairs for a natural finish, an angled brow pencil to fill in gaps and create perfect arches, and an easy-to-use matte eyeshadow that suits all skin tones."
Express Gel Polish
The Express Gel Polish which features a rounded fan-type brush to effortlessly coat nails with color. It comes in three shades -- Enchanted Mirror (nude), Glass Slipper (glitter), and Sweet Slumber (pink).
Tin Can sets
The Tin Can Sets are made for day and night looks. There are three Tin Can sets you can choose from -- Moisturizing Matte Lip Click in Rapunzel and Ariel, Moisturizing Matte Lip Click in Jasmine and Belle, and Vivid Cotton Lip Mousse in Cinderella and Snow White.
