THE City Nutrition Committee has lined up activities for the nationwide celebration of Nutrition Month this July with the theme “Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo..push natin ‘to!”.
Dulce Miravite, city health officer, said the activity will kick off 8 a.m. Monday, July 1, with a motorcade from Pettit Barracks to CityMall in the village of Tetuan where the launching program will be held.
Miravite said the event will be participated by government agencies, non-government organizations, hospital employees, academe, health workers, barangay nutrition scholars and village health workers.
She said the launching event will be followed by a thematic symposium and a jingle with choreography competition among junior high school students.
Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar will keynote the opening program. (Bong Garcia)
