Kekert: Mixed celebrations

COME ready for a Star Wars party at a galaxy not so far away as Mark Emmanuel “Manu” Sandoval Valiente turns seven! The son of Erwin and Stephanie and older sibling to sister Ella, had a galactic celebration at the Maria Luisa Park Clubhouse. Manu’s birthday cake featured the legendary Star Wars death star with a whole candy buffet created by Jia Rodriguez and a dinner buffet spread by Creative Cuisine. May the force be with you, Manu. Happy 7th birthday!

Looking every inch the Bohemian beauty, Frances Siao donned a uniquely designed boho chic outfit showing her incredible physique as she celebrated her birthday bash at Maya at the Crossroads! Vamping it up and mingling with great company for what was such a gorgeous evening festivity, Frances’ festive soiree was decked with colorful dream-catchers, blooms and feathers to emulate the free-spirited vibe. The eclectic food selection and the non-stop flow of drinks too were all in line with the boho bash! Today was all about you, and it was wonderful. Happy Birthday, dear Frances, and have many more to come!

Award-winning material innovator and only true sustainable manufacturer in the Philippines, Nature’s Legacy, recently launched its new brand identity with a new showroom located along P. Remedio Street in Mandaue City as well as a website (www.natureslegacy.com) and logo.

“We’ve been expanding our international footprint for over 35 years, so this launch is a sort of coming home for us, to the island and people that started it all. We want to celebrate, not only our material innovations, but Filipino ingenuity at its best,” said president and chief executive officer of Nature’s Legacy, Pedro “Pete” Delantar.

Elevating innovations that help both people and planet, the new showroom features some of the company’s 7,000 products found in its claddings, doors, decor and accessories—all made out of Nature’s Legacy’s four material innovations—Naturescast®, Nucast®, Marmorcast® and Stonecast. A section of the showroom also houses the company’s Material Library to guide designers and architects on the boundless applications these four materials are capable of.

Present at the brand launch were Nature’s Legacy’s partners from the government and private sector including Shahlimar Tamano, Department of Tourism (DOT) 7 regional director; Migs Rosales, designer and conceptual consultant; Hope Melgar, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) provincial director; Edilberto Paradella, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) director; and Ryan Mantahuka, Philippine Institute of Interior Designers president. Co-founders Pete and Cathy Delantar, Maria Katrina Delantar (creative brand director) and John Dayle Delantar (vice president for operations) represented Nature’s Legacy at the launch.
