THE real work is on our own.
Like anything else in life, the gift of accompaniment from those who understand and resonate with our journey will provide the much needed guidance and inspiration. Even light in the darkest days when there is difficulty to keep going. They are there, cheering us to continue. To take the step, move and beautifully craft the life that we are destined to be.
We get to choose.
Every single day to carry the burden of other people’s expectation, upbringing and behavior. We get to decide, with the full capacity of our mind and openness in our heart to just stick and focus on our own growing by laying down anything that does not have to do with us. There is nothing beyond us that is within our control.
Not the way that people tend to hold their own truth, and defend it with all their might even at the expense of others. In some settings, one could feel too entitled to destroy other people in the belief that it could somehow make them feel better about themselves. Some may be brought up full of distrust, and probably discomfort and abuse that they do not any other way but be transactional in their way of dealing with others.
When manipulation and getting ahead gets the best of the person. When everything becomes a matter of gaining.
Life does not knock us down, but these are some of the situation that reminds us of our own internal state. Everything a projection on those around us--the people that we live, work with and the relationships that we cherish or not invested upon.
We get to accept or return the gift. Even pain and darkness. By doing so, we remain true to our own light.
The difficult, often ragged way on the internal work can only be done on our own. We get to choose how we react and engage on things that brings us joy and fulfillment. In solitary. No one could help us go through the deep and often hard process of thinking and reflection.
Nothing could force us towards any internal change except when we are fully convinced that we either move on, and continue building or we get stuck with the need to destroy. Moving with emptiness and chaos from within, we make sure that everyone around us would share and add the toxic energy from within.
Clearing ourselves away from it and anything that could burdens us opens the way towards fullness. This openness includes loving oneself and living life to the fullest that everything we do becomes soulgasmic. That every day, whenever we open our eyes and breathe, there is no other option but for our soul to exclaim, there you are! You now have it going!
In the flutter of the heart. The joy we exude when we connect with others and do the work of becoming and being. The passion in our work. The imprints that we leave for others.
It could be draining or inspiring. We get to choose.
We also provide freedom to those who journey with us to be on their own. With or without us. They too, have their own internal work to do.
