Pineda vows to look into district hospital operations

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda said she will personally monitor all district hospitals to intensify the health programs of newly installed Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda.

“Hiniling ko kay Governor Delta na ako mismo ang tututok, para masigurado na hindi delayed ang serbisyo ng kapitolyo para sa mga kababayan nating may sakit,” Vice Governor Nanay said.

This was gleaned during the first meeting of Governor Delta with the chiefs of hospitals, Sangguniang Panlalawigan members, Philippine National Police (PNP) Officers, Departments heads, and other provincial officials held at the Executive House here.

The Vice Governor has sworn to take responsibility for the improvement of health services in the province to ensure all privileges and benefits are properly given to people.

Vice Governor Nanay said there would be continuity on the programs and services she initiated during her term as governor of the province for the past nine years.

“Patuloy pa rin tayo sa pagseserbisyo, patuloy pa rin ang ating mga programa para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kabalen, kailangan ko ang tulong ninyong mga chief of hospital para magawa ko ito,” Pineda stressed.

Consequently, she also vowed to monitor all impending hospital rehabilitation projects left during her term with the help of the chiefs of hospitals.

Governor Pineda, meanwhile, also pledged for the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras with voice recorders in all district hospitals to document and monitor their daily transactions.

Moreover, the Governor also urged all hospital officials to expedite their PhilHealth collections to reach its P1B income, the same as last year.
