THE Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Under-18 3X3 Davao City eliminations will be held on September 7 and 8.
SBP-Davao operations head Ronel Leuterio bared this via Facebook after the SBP Davao Region officials held a meeting Monday evening at The Royal Mandaya Hotel.
“It will be a tournament for boys and girls,” he said.
The meeting was a follow-up on what was tackled during the SBP Davao Region Officials Summit held last June 15.
During the summit, SBP representatives from different chapters in the region approved the holding of a regionwide 3X3 tournament wherein a each SBP chapter will hold its own city or provincial elimination then all city and provincial champions will converge in Davao City for the regional finals in October.
The regional champion will then represent the region to the national finals.
Another meeting is set on July 13 for an inter-collegiate sponsors league.
Leuterio said, “It will be a potential tie up between universities and their sponsors for the Davao City elimination for the PCCL (Philippine Collegiate Champions League).”
